A lot of locals claim that both girls had Only Fans accounts. Idk if that's true, but Kaylee had broken up with her BF months previously, I think over last summer. So she was likely casually dating. Keep in mind that if they had dated, or did a hook up, that's just circumstantial evidence. So, the same can be claimed about the knife sheath, unusually clean of blood, that was found right next to Maddy's body. And the blood on his bedsheets is likely a nothing burger, as if he's had sex in his bed, young women may bleed following sex. Even if it matches Kaylee, all that shows is they had a sexual relationship together. What would be more convincing if they found clothes with blood on them, indicating that they might have been the clothes worn during the murders. Because no murderer will go home then sit and sleep in their bed with their bloody clothes on, only to dispose of the clothes and weapon later, and not the bedsheets. Naive people seem to believe that a guy in a Ph.D. program in criminal forensics would go about a crime, and cover it up, in the same manner that someone who was in special Ed and dropped out of HS.

Either way, if he did it, he's probably going to be exonerated unless the murder weapon is found.
