I watched a video in which two divers were tasked with exploring an under ice lake in Antarctica. The animal could shape shift and killed a diver.

And sometimes, human-like legs...
I can't with that image. 🤣

To be honest, something similar could exist to fit a niche within the world’s oceans, considering that there is a bottom feeding fish with ‘legs’ which uses them to move on the floor in the deep ocean (real life Darwin). So the idea of a large mammalian evolving large grasping appendages to snatch things from ice bergs or from the ocean could make sense, but like, I think it might be a little far fetched

As a Ningen, I would just like to say that I don't appreciate being described as a "whale-like creature". I have a degree from Harvard, I can speak 3 languages fluently and in my spare time I do ballet.
