Here’s the difference:

👉 Passion is the spark, the thing that lights you up and excites you in the moment. It’s emotional and often short-term, powered by the brain’s reward system (dopamine!).

👉 Purpose is the fire, the deeper meaning that drives your actions and gives your life direction. It’s tied to long-term thinking and resilience, engaging the brain’s prefrontal cortex.

Right now, I’m letting purpose guide my new path. Passion will be part of the journey, but purpose is the compass that keeps me moving forward.
