Flipping The Lawn

A new reset! This time my attention turns to the 20 gallon tank. I’ve gradually added mods to this tank over the years. It's a fun setup that really works to grow plants. So I'm going in again to make another aquascape using the knot technique. Lots of things in this video are picked out in my Amazon list. I update it regularly with stuff I buy. Its there for information or purchase. Even looking at the list helps the channel a tiny bit and I thank you.

Pecktec shirts? Why yes it's a fun way to help out and a cool shirt.
If you buy a shirt I wanna’ see you in it! Send a photo I’ll put you on a video!

I always enjoy rescape videos; they give me great ideas for what I need to do with my tanks. And I like this new scape a lot.

Looks great. Nice and open while still being well planted. Would look nice with fish in it. Easy to see. Love your boxes of hardscape, too. 👍😎

I wonder if a black background would help with that feeling of emptiness, until some plants grow taller. Especially nice if you put some of your little sparkly fish back in.

If you take a water bottle, cut the end witht he cap off right where it starts to taper from a cylinder down to the cap, invert the piece with the cap and stick it into the bottom piece you can make a wicked good fish trap. When it's feeding time just put a little food in there, come back in 3 minutes, you can catch like 90% of your fish by doing this a few times. I thought it was a long shot but I was so tired of catching fish in heavily planted tanks I gave it a try and it works so good.

You might be able to squeeze a Betta in there, Sean, but it'll be a tight fit lol. Seriously though, I really prefer the open space this one has. IMHO, stock it simply and allow it to grow on its own.

Having trouble keeping wood down? Just figure out which way it is going to be setting the drill large 1" plus size holes in the bottom and back filling them with little rock to weigh it down. It works great or just use silicone to glue a slate piece onto the bottom to set rock on. It will look more natural than putting rocks on the top sides of it. Nice Ideas and setup video. Thanks for putting this up!

Kuhli loaches only swim around like that, when they're stressed! I've kept and bred Kuhli's for over 5 years. Consider checking the water parameters or ensure they have places to hide, out of your line of sight.

Another dynamic scape! Looks great. The dwarf lily will get big if you let it. Curious to see the fish you chose for the tank.
