There's a lot of work in that! Well done.

Good tour Paul - you went to quite an effort to fit all the modules into the chassis. Your companion video of the rig in operation on Mt Strickland demonstrates how well the receiver sounds. I liked the way the tones in this video, JT65-HF signals, varied a bit when you lifted the VXO cover. A nice analog vibe happening there :)

ANOTHER PROJECT VERY WELL DONE, FANTASTIC WORK PAUL, ALWAYS A JOY TO SEE THIS STYLE OF WORK, MY PROJECT AT THE MOMENT IS BUILDING A CW/SSB 40M/20M PURE ANOLOUGE SETUP, LOVE THE GOOD OLD WAYS, TO BE USED IN THE FIELD SO CURRENT CONSUMPTION IS VERY IMPORTANT. SEARCHING FOR A NAME FOR IT, MIGHT CONSIDER allo allo 40? look forward to the next video.

Is there a reason to use the 1496 as a modulator rather than another 612?
A great little rig. 73

Errata: The driver is a 2N3866 not a 2N3886 as shown in this video.
