Mexico‘s Biggest Megaproject Tren Maya

Tren Maya is a massive infrastructure project currently underway in Mexico, aimed at improving connectivity and boosting tourism in the country's southeastern region. The ambitious project will see the construction of a 1,470 km railway network that will loop through the states of Chiapas, Tabasco, Campeche, Yucatan, and Quintana Roo, connecting major tourist destinations along the way.

The project is expected to cost around $8 billion and will be funded by a combination of public and private investment. The Mexican government has stated that the project will be a major driver of economic growth and job creation in the region, with the potential to create over 80,000 jobs during the construction phase alone.

The only ones that are against the train are the conservatives of México, NOT the indigenous or ecologists, 1 indigenous see this project as an economically benefit to their areas and the train doesn’t pass through their houses. 2 Ecologists see this as good bc the railways include underground tunnels for fauna also includes reforestation of the forest parks and boulevards, and the railways already EXIST since the 1800-1900.

A visionary true leader (don’t buy what opposition says against this project, they’ve neglected the people of this region for a long time other then Cancun tourist area, this project will bring many opportunities to the region. Mexico has one of the biggest reforestation projects in the world now with AMLO. Pushback comes from those that won’t benefit from this project being in the private sector) It’s all about the money. AMLO is giving back to the people in too many ways to count here. Can’t wait to get on the train. This is going to be amazing. What a legacy he’s leaving to the people. Sorry opposition you had 100 years to govern and you left only corruption behind. NEVER AGAIN will the Mexican people vote for Prian (the far right traitors of Mexico)
