This is the only song I’ve been listening to the past two hours. And I’ve been crying the past two hours. For the longest time ever I thought I would really like a guy when in reality I only liked the idea of them. I never got to know them well enough to actually start liking them. And looking back now, I’ve wasted so many tears on guys who honestly meant nothing to me. I liked the idea of love. I liked the idea of having someone to like me back. I’ve only ever liked two guys in my 20 years of living. Still never had a bf. And the second guy I liked, it was going well between us until he decided it was best to stop. It was on and off for a bit but now we’re staying as just friends and I’m so heartbroken. The lyrics to this song, I fell in love with your smile. Your brown eyes they adore me. Perfect description for the guy I was just “with.” I miss him so much and I honestly did see a future between us. And for some reason I think it’ll still be him and I in the end. It just hurts though because he recently ended things because he thinks I deserve better. He knows I fantasize about all the romantic stuff and he told me he isn’t mentally stable enough to give me what I deserve.
