1. Cutting back Lukas mins and keeping him healthy.
2. Getting Irving healthy enough to play 65 games not counting playoffs games.
3. Klay hitting his 3's at +39% and giving some decent D.
4. Next 5 players playing consistent. PJ, Naji, Liv, Gafford & Grimes.
5. Learning how to get involved and coaching players up. Better game situation coach.
We are better going into this season. But can Luka accept a lower level role realizing he will be better comes playoffs?

Kidd has the most room for improvement. He holds the keys to a championship.

Luka shoots 74.7%.
A 10% improvement puts him at 82.1%.

Asking your best player to do that this year is feasible, reasonable, and probably necessary if The Dallas Mavericks want to win a Championship.

Luka needs to improve at the free throw line.

Imo that's number 1.

You can't be as legendarily good as he is and shoot less than 80% from the stripe.

Room for improvement? Lively? Yes, but I'll be content if he stays at the current level and stays healthy. Gafford has room for improvement if only in Free Throw percentage. Maxi and PJ getting over the yips would be huge since they both will be on the court A LOT!

Number 5: You forgot to mention Hardy. He could and probably should improve 10-15%

Klay will get around 12 to 15 fga per game. There is a world where if Klay is over 44% from 3 (which for him, with these open shots, is possible) that the shot distribution is much more even. For example 15+, 17+, 19+ (Klay, Kyrie, Luka) spg with Luka at over 12 apg. If they can all stay healthy, they will be top 2 offense.
