✊ HARSH Writing Advice 📣

I love Alexa Donne’s series on harsh writing advice, so I decided to come up with my own list of writing advice that you need to hear, even if you probably don’t want to hear it. Turns out, I had a lot to say on this topic, so I decided to make three videos on this:

The whole re-writing for years makes me sad. Partly because I know the feeling of desperately wanting to put out the best work you can produce, and partly because I understand the fear of rejection, but mostly because that book is sitting in limbo and everyone who might benefit from reading it is being denied the joy of the story because of fear. Which sucks.

As for the following the rules part, I find that SO SO interesting. It's similar in almost any art form, and part of me thinks that this is the thing that separates those people who learn to write from the people who have the natural inclination for it. Which makes me want to do a vlog about the whole question of whether writers are born or made. Thanks for the inspiration!
