1) I adore Peter Sokolowski and follow him on Twitter (he's got a lot of very interesting things to say).

2) There's nothing worse than being corrected (as I have been) for using correct English. It's rather sad. So, now I have a YouTube link that I can refer to. I am happy for that!

3) And 'me want cookie' is perfect and must be colloquially correct in all settings ;-)

"Me Tarzan, You Jane"

"Me want cookie."

You changed the lighting. The thumbnail made it look like this video would be in the form of a cartoon.

Since the (nominative/accusative) case in English is determined entirely by word order and context, why don't we just get rid of the I/me and who/whom dichotomies?

THANK YOU! I was half-expecting one of those videos where you say that technically either one is okay.

People have the same problem in Sweden using I (jag) and me (mig) wrong. It's so easy. Just think ahead and see if there is a verb. As you said..."me is hungry" sounds terribly wrong.

"And what's for lunch, me friend?"

Man, words are great. I swear, were it not for there being an innumerable panoply of 'em, I'd have already cut the talkin' and excised a few choice nouns, so-to-speak.

Well technically if people use both interchangeably for a long enough time, both uses will probably eventually be accepted. ;)

"I am not a student. - Me neither!" - Where is the subject-object logic here?

In British languages, they somethimes say Zi instead of I. For example, it is Zi, captain if the wonderbolts. In english it must be It is me, captain of the wonderbolts. But, there's an error. If Zi meant I, why would english make"me"the correct word to use? It will sound like It is zee, captain of the wonderbolts (Unless the word Zee was a proper noun)

I think you should have said "Me am Tarzan" and "Me want a cookie" to emphasize that merely using a slightly incorrect pronoun, while keeping everything else the correct, produces an obviously incorrect sentence.

I hate it when people over-correct and use “I” when “me” is actually the correct form. It makes me cringe. 😖

Thank you very much. The usage is simple, but so often used incorrectly. It gets even worse with other pronouns such as he/him, and reflexive used incorrectly makes me vomit ;-)
