Shannon's dream to play Nala in the Lion King has already come true but now she has leukemia, and is fighting for her life. Only a bone marrow transplant can cure Shannon and get her back onstage where she belongs.

I keep coming back to this video. This is so very special. I see artists all the time doing videos and fundraisers, but hardly EVER see them "hands on". This really made me cry.. I really hope you are able to donate, because I couldn't due to my diabetes... =( People can donate money all day, but unless they get in there and get their hands dirty and interact, nothin is going to change. I just registered! thanks for posting this video...as painful as i hear donating marrow is, it can't compare to the pain of living with a fatal disease. I really hope I'm a match for someone out there :)

You and I are around the same age I believe(i'm 23), and I also signed up to donate bone marrow, but I have diabetes, so they said no.. =(
