Undertale and Touhou ost being [ oddly similar ] compilation

Fun fact, Undertale was originally going to have bombs in it like touhou, but toby fox removed them because the ones he designed "reminded him of the war" in his own words on his Gamejolt page.

It's always so cool when games wear their inspirations like a sleeve, especially when the creator is an open fan like Toby is with Zun.
I like to think Zun used Toby's music as an inspiration when making tracks for his newer games.

I wouldn't say that many of these are stretches, but rather nearly all of them are examples of s form of song writing that Michael Jackson once deseribed as " you need to be able to hum the chorus without lyrics."

Toby and ZUN's music excel at being memorable because they incorporate an understanding of the basics while creating a character that fita the song

I like this because you can tell where Toby was inspired by Touhou; but he never *stole* from it, which puts him above even most mainstream artists.

Couple of these are a bit of a stretch, but it's still cool to see how much inspiration Toby has had from Touhou. And it's something you can see more than just here, I mean we all recall Heir Conditioning, right?
