"Wet" is a conditional adjective that is used to DESCRIBE the surface of something that's typically dry. If you say something is "wet", then it means you can remove the water that's present on the surface of that something. You cant remove the water from water and make it dry because "dry water" is not a thing. So by definition it cant be wet. That's it.

What we call water is H2O molecules. When millions of H2O molecules join each other, they form enough liquid that can be observed by our eyes.
If we call "wet" anything that is in contact with H20 - water -, and we have established that water is millions of H2O in contact with each other, that means water is, indeed in contact with water at all times, therefore, yes, water is wet!


Also yes, fire is on fire! If you add fire to fire you get more fire, that can only be explained as you having set fire on fire!

Technically wetting is between any solid and any liquid. So technically liquid water can't be wet but solid can be.

Hang on, did this Baka just say water IS wet but fire is NOT on fire? Water can't be wet. Liquids can't be wet. Just like fire can't be on fire, it's the thing under it that's on fire. Something in a different state has to interact with it, so ice can be wet, and air can be on fire or something... but water isn't wet and fire is not on fire. You can't ignite fire to set it more on fire... or place fire on fire to make it more on fire.

And you certainly can't say one is one way but the other is the other. Tf? Lol
