Rebecca was a witch to Esther. Her telling Esther she's " self centered ", is rich, because, Rebecca is the Queen of self centered.
And, she's talking to her like she knows everything about life, because, she is four months older than Esther, and therefore has much more life experience.
Rebecca really knows how to make a fool of herself.

Realistically Rebecca is mad that Esther isn’t going to stick around to be forced to watch her kids 24/7 or whenever needed because that was Esther JOB as an amish woman and Rebecca knew that and is taking advantage of it. Rebecca is 100% angry at her only because she knows shes going to have to pay people to watch her kids.
