I am a huge Aerospace fan. I had a 40 mm early Aerospace for 20 years and now have two Evo’s, one of the yellow dial limited edition, N°156/300. I bought B70 Orbiter 2 months ago from Breitling. I love it, except the countdown timer/alarm beeper is barely audible, and, therefore, pretty useless. And, the hour hand keeps losing time, about 1 minute/day. I’ve had several phone and email conversations with Breitling service. I finally took it to a Breitling Boutique and they sent the watch in for evaluation. I think the inaudible beeper is due to the balloon material muffling the sound. They said they can’t remove the balloon material. I told Breitling that for $5k, all functions should work. It will be interesting to see what they do and how long it will take. Stay tuned

I’ve taken a look at this model. It’s actually quite funky looking and fun! The piece of balloon in the display caseback is entertaining. It’s quite a bit of a titanium chunk compared to the standard Aero. I’ve got one from 2007 and it’s been a great travel companion. Just don’t sent to Breitling for a battery change or you’ll get fleeced. Solid piece with unique looks - although a tad pricey these days. I picked mine up new with a discount for £1, 600 back in the day. What’s that. There’s no repetition minutes feature…?

Is this Breitling DIN 8330 compliant?

I wonder why this newer movement is only 2 years battery life but the older black model is 3-4 I think

Interesting piece, though I'm not attracted to the hybrid analog/digital dial.

Bought one 20 years ago. Biggest regret. Glorified battery watch and Breitling customer “service” is terrible.
