Istanbul Bebek Walking Tour, Istanbul 4K

Bebek neighbourhood is a historic region that is located in Beşiktaş district along the European shores of the Bosphorus Bay. Bebek is surrounded by Arnavutköy and Etiler neighborhoods.

"Bebek" means "baby" in Turkish, which is a is believed to be a shortened form of "Boğaz'ın gözbebeği", which translates, literally, as "the pupil of the Bosphorus".

It was a popular residential district under Ottoman rule, and continues to be so today.
