My fiancé and I were there recently to see if it would be a suitable wedding location for us, as we'd like to get married in the park next door and then celebrate in the TV tower. How small the world is, after all 😅😆

If it spins, you need to keep in mind that some people could get motion sickness. You and German Boyfriend (I guess soon-to-be German Husband) have brought me so much joy over the years. I wish you both nothing but the best in your marriage!

Hey Uyen! This reminded me of the the Rheinturm in Düsseldorf. The ticket was 12.5 euros and it pained me to spend that much on an elevator ride but the view from above is really great. My friends and I enjoyed a lot! All the best for your wedding!

Mannheim is such a pretty city, and it is indeed a cool location, but for dancing you need a big dancing floor for sure, we all expect some cool dance moves from you and german boyfriend on your wedding day 😊🎉

I love the view up there But I think for a wedding it would be hard to interact with other guest if everyone is seperatet to different desks.

May I suggest looking into summerhouses on the Danish West Coast?
There's a community hall you can rent with large halls for dinner and dancing, and then people can go back to their summer houses to sleep (1 house sleeps 16 people), and you are 300 meters from the ocean, sand dunes and lovely nature (if it's a summery wedding, would NOT recommend for a winter or autumn wedding).
So the entire wedding party can have beach fun a few days before the wedding, have drinks and lounge in the indoor pools (all summer houses come with pools, bubble bath and sauna), and your bf will be able to find lots of interesting bugs in the "lyng" near the dunes and go on hikes with everyone :)

Whatever you choose, I hope you have a fantastic wedding!! :)

As a vinegrower, that's such a sweet idea since the german wine market is currently at its limit. There are a lot of vinerys that do events in their yard and I think that's beautiful!

I grew up in the same region and the coolest wedding locations where I have attended a wedding were castles in the south-west, some of those are very close to vineyards as well.
