Hi, I have a ps3 and play minecraft on it, but I'm kinda new to it anx new to speedrunning.

My question is why does the timer keep going with the game loading. I think that most games only start timing when you gain control and that's because some people may have a faster machine ar an emulator so it's best to time it like so. So why don't we just time the gameplay?
