defeats the purpose of it if i have to put the detector on the object directly i want to find something i cant see with my visual eye and that i dont have to touch to the tracking device something that can track an object atleast a foot away

Got mine today.Works great if YOU KNOW where the cameras are.Threw it in my kids toy box

What if it doesn't transmit a signal, but it still is recording you

Nobody seems to say if to turn off the Wifi Box or not imside the home.

Video was off to a good start then went down hill.

Useless device...Can't see cameras through the glass...Beeps at everything, even if there is nothing...Magnet search doesn't work when the antenna is extended, and if the antenna is folded, it detects a magnet with three millimetres...Waste of money....
