The amazing part is while Miguel is the antagonist and his methods are pretty bad, his reasoning isn't wrong. If the Spider-verse relies on certain "fixed" events occuring to remain stable, then those events shouldn't be prevented. As difficult as it is for Spider-man to accept that certain despairs must occur for his universe to keep existing, it's small sacrifices that harkens to what Uncle Ben said: with great power comes great responsibility. Sometimes, the responsible choice is to let something happen even knowing the outcome.

On the other hand, Miles is right that being Spider-man means doing whatever you can to save as many people as possible. The risk of acting shouldn't prevent one from doing the right thing.

Both are right, so it's not a matter of moral superiority. It comes down to a desperate man trying his hardest to keep everything together versus a desperate man trying his hardest to do the right thing.

What makes this awesome is that despite that he was not supposed to be Spider-Man, Miles embraces what Spider-Man is all about which is to not stand by and try to save as many people as he can

Man this is such a well written movie. The fact that Miles and Hobie truly understands what it means to be Spider-Man. It isn’t some mysterious connection like they all have family members or friends that die. It’s the fact that even when they know that something won’t work, they’ll do everything in their power to try and attempt to have success. Miguel isn’t a true Spider-Man, he doesn’t even have the powers. Everything he knows about the spider people is through his reading and research. He creates rules that the spider people have to follow even though he’s not one of them. Hobie sees the spider club for what it is, a cage put onto them to trap them from doing good. The last line before Gwen gets sent back to her universe sums it up perfectly. “I thought we were supposed to be the good guys.” Almost everyone else reacted in a way that said “We are right?” Amazingly written.

You know, I didn't like how Miguel blamed Miles for the spider biting him when it was The SPOTS who brought that spider to their world. Miles didn't even knew and yet he blamed him and even to the point he called him a 'Mistake'. Dude, Miles never wanted this but he embraced it. Why you getting on his ass when he's taking responsibility? 😂

Funny how Miguel blames Miles for being bitten by a spider from another dimension like he did it on purpose.

Miles is literally the last person who is to blame in this situation. Miguel doesnt go after Mr.Big, Octavia, or even Spot- the people who really started this whole mess, he goes after the spiderman who stepped up and took responsibility and goes out of his way to blame the one person who did nothing wrong.
