KMU wants the mandatory retirement age 'maintained,' saying existing laws should instead be improved to give better benefits for retiring workers.

Have it maintained. The much older they get, the more grumpier they became. It will be counter productive. Also, not much rotation on the manpower. It will become stagnant, while newly graduate who has much potential will just be keep on waiting for an opening because employeees will just keep on holding to their jobs until they can't get up from their beds.
