V RISING - HOW TO SOLO RAZIEL THE SHEPHERD

Here is my short guide on how I was able to defeat Raziel The Shepherd in V Rising. The trifecta is Magic, Healing, and a Shield.

I just got obliterated by this boss at gear level 64 lol. Kinda amazing how you destroyed him just like that hah gg

Hints (possible spoilers): Raziel is really slow & wont disengage as long as you stay in the church so if you get low on health just simply run away to near the entrance & either pop a pot & use your normal heal ability as you may have as much as 30 seconds untill Raziel slooowly walks down to you/get in range. Beware of his "sith"-beam shooting directly at you & its a good idea save your dash for the beam. Do note that the beam has a length limit too so you can also dodge by staying out of range. Alternatively notice the 2 wooden pillars/rood support? You can stand behind those to block the beam or the stun shot. Those pillar ar thin thou. Also beware of the stun-shots explosive range i really wide. The "beam from above" is indeed really slow & should be easy to avoid but that is where Raziels small "towers of stun/slowdown".comes in play. If you are still having trouble with Raziel that you can simply load up with a bunch of "minion" magic (assasin, wolf & golem) & just keep out of range & make sure to keep circling. isnt particular brave & a bit slow, but its better than getting completely stuck.

The use of the scythe is ideal I died 3 times using the normal weapons

Used merciless pistols and scholar blood (got a 82% right in the church lol)...it was an easy fight haha.
