I use Python for gathering data from csv/database, cleaning, and pushing data to databases. From then, it is purely SQL. It always ends up in a database that uses SQL. the data janitor is still providing great knowledge, up to you to take it.

I was so surprised to see that Microsoft is building a new "$1 billion, 315 acre data center campus" real close to where I live. I keep wanting to go the cyber security route but life keeps giving little signs to toughen up and go the data route. Either way, I have been having a blast learning so much lately. This channel is a huge motivation and the short videos are just as good as a coffee to get me going 💪

I really respect the way you are raw and spitting facts. I am currently learning python and I am very sure that I will need to learn sql and then will have to learn and understand data analysis and then find a job as a data analyst or even an internship for that matter. My dream and goal is to become a machine learning engineer and I know it won't be easy and ready to do what is needed.

I searched for guidance on YouTube but sadly didn't find any for machine learning. Then I got your channel as recommendation and it seems to be the best thing that happened to me that day. Just your 2-3 minutes videos have taught me so much about the industry and how machine learning engineering actually works.

I just had a doubt and that is how much does a mahine learning engineer gets paid(actually in the industry) and I have been hearing that web3 is also booming at tremendous rate. So web3 has more money or machine learning.

I really admire and aim to be a machine learning engineer even if it's paid low but various youtuber say that web3 has way more money than machine learning. Is this true?

So Mike offers some sage advice here. Take note. I have been a business intelligence analyst over the past decade for a variety large non-tech companies. What he is saying is exactly true. To sum up from all of his videos: LEARN SQL! The biggest part of the job will be to source, clean, store, and extract data. And none that is done without SQL. I have a degree in math and love mathematical models and machine learning in Python. But none of that is worth a hill of beans if the data pipelines are not built and the data is not prepped. Garbage in and garbage out. Take this advice seriously.

Please make a video on how to master SQL because if we know SQL 40% interview we cracked

As you told, I'm planning to take the MySQL 8.0 database developer exam. Could you share any resources/guides/training programmes for the same?

Thanks!

Mike, do you ever use sql alchemy or similar tools to write pass through queries to relational databases inside your jupyter notebook? Or do you just write sql to extract the data as a csv and export to a numpy array/pandas dataframe? Is there a particular use case for one over the other?

hey Mike,
do you see new AI / ML jobs arising in the future?

I am under the impression that AI is this huge interesting topic that's affecting everyone's life,
and yet it offers very limited job prospects right now.

Mike don't u think even if all the models are democratized, we still need to learn to author our own models so at least we know what's behind the scenes of the model we gonna use, or would u suggest to just focus on sql and python data cleansing

Mike, some says "you need to have knowledge about like Spark, Flink, Kappa and Lambda architectures etc. and some devops practices to get over $200k per year. What do you think about this?

Note: My intention is for those who are already data engineers and want to improve themselves further. Especially get to job with same title but for Big Tech companies.

What if you use SQL alchemy to do joins in python …?

Wait! I have the greatest question?
What about Non-SQL or a non-relational databases😮 “in the real world”

EASTER SALE. Use the code JULY at checkout to get 3 months for $40. That's $14...ish a month. Affordable and real-world.

Stay clear of roles that aren't going to help you. If you want to be a data analyst then I have you covered.
