Yesterday, many of you witnessed the epic release of Ricky the bear back into the wild. But before that heart-pounding moment, there was a lot of hard work and preparation behind the scenes to make it all possible.

In this behind-the-scenes footage, you’ll see FPWC’s dedicated team carefully moving Ricky from the quarantine area of the rescue center to his release crate. Moving a wild bear is no easy task—Ricky is heavy, and it took the combined effort of an entire team to safely load him up and ensure everything was ready for his return to the mountains.

Every detail had to be meticulously planned, from his recovery to the transport logistics, to ensure Ricky’s safety and well-being. Remember, it couldn’t have been done without the support of people like YOU!
