The Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT is a badass SUV, definitely by far the best SUV from an American company. (The Trackhawk is cooler, but its the same family). Launch control, AWD, NA Hemi V8, looks mean, has a nice interior, what more can you ask for?

The thing I liked about my JGC was it was a decent sized vehicle without being TOO big. Big enough for 5 comfortably, with room in the back to spare, but not unwieldy.

This is hands down the best SUV I’ve driven at this price range and I’ve had a number of sports cars and SUV ...this one made me smile every day and took everything I could throw at it with no stress. IT capabilities not the best but that’s not what you are paying for. Sold it for a Ford Explorer sport and now have massive regrets. Be aware that the SRT has massive maintenance and fuel bills but I haven’t driven many better than it, except for the Porsche Cayenne GTS when it was a v8 and that’s an extra 40k

I just picked up a '21 JGC SRT last month with low mileage. It's a beast, for sure! I have had a perma-grin on my face since the test drive. I rarely see any of these where I live, but when I do, me and the other driver give 'the nod'. Aggressive-looking, stylish, fast, formidable, and a great daily driver! I'm looking to keep this beauty for many years and hope it treats me well. Great video review. Just subscribed to your channel, too 👍

I drive an 07RS4 and my wife drives a 16 grand Cherokee SRT and she loves it. ...and wont let me drive it. Very underrated.

the correct x5 to compare this to is not the X5M, but the 50i. power and price are just about the same. However the Jeep will wipe the floor with the X5 50i in handling. The Trackhawk is the one that should be directly compared to the X5M.

Srt gc atleast has “srt” in the steering wheel, idk why the trackhawk says “jeep”, dummest shit ever. I have a 15 srt Jeep, intake, exhaust, headers, throttle body, tune, I’ve done 0-60 3.9, avg 4.1, quarter mile 12.5 @ 118

Honestly rather have a SRT and supercharge it than a Trackhawk. I love them led lights and SRT badging.. they half assed the Trackhawk

Nice to see a quick review of the 2018. Only a few minor changes from 2017 like the updated UConnect system but it’s nice to see a current model year one. Info on the 2019’s should emerge this month, last year for the WK2.

Track mode does not change throttle control it only changes shift point to as fast as possible
