Hi. I have a mild case of Cerebral Palsy, due to this, my right leg is 4 cm shorter than my left. I have really bad back pain and I’m wondering if this will help me. But another thing I want to mention is, I get extremely upset when I see myself in a full length mirror because of my height (4 foot 11 inches) I know that there are people shorter than me, but I would feel a lot more comfortable and confident in myself if I was taller. If I was to have this done, how would that work out? And does Medicare pay for this surgery? Thank you for the very informative video!

Is the rod removed from the body afterward? I just don't want to have any foreign in my body. also, the rod may take up space from the bone marrow, which produce blood cells.
