Another great video. Thank you. One thing that struck me is that Chloe, if she is still alive, will be an old lady by now. The technology in the trailer and Niki's car in the MV both indicate the early1980s, which must be the time they were hanging out with Chloe. I don't think they experience time in the same way humans do. This is also hinted at in the webtoon. It may seem to them like only a short time has passed and they may not realise that most of Chloe's life will have passed since they hung out. This is another way that Chloe represents Engene. Engene will grow up while they remain digitally immortal and unchanged.

At first, I thought this was an alternate timeline but this must have been before they met Sooha at the Riverfield school. Then I went back to thinking it seems like a different reality in their Dark Moon storyline. But it's really the prequel to Dark Moon.

Because of the reincarnation thing in Dark Moon, it would make sense that they have different powers, it can be a different timeline. I wondered how many reincarnations they had until they got to the modern timeline. And there's the "Children of Vamfield. Where they were staying is called "Vamfield house, " and they grew up with Ms. Marge, who is the caretaker/teacher of Selene/Sooha.

This is an amazing video!! Your take on how the mv is connected to the concept cinema was so interesting to watch!! Im curious to hear your thoughts on another very similar theory on Twitter because it addressed the mv separate from the concept trailer I believe. It basically talked about how ni-ki is actually the mastermind in this mv bc you can see the boys playing rock paper scissors at the start of the mv to confess to chloe. They throw up scissors and sunghoon throws up rock, so he wins. Then the mv flashes to how each member would confess to chloe in their imaginations. We can actually see in the mv a clip when Jake closes the fridge that he looks at the corner of the room, and there are 6 bats there watching him because they don’t want Jake to confess to Chloe. Then the mv flashes back to Jungwon, who was zoning out bc he along with the other members saw the future that sunghoon was going to win, so he along with all the other members throws up rock. However, ni-ki, knowing what all the members were thinking, throws up paper and wins.

That’s why at the end of the mv, we see them and Chloe in the car where ni-ki imagined his confession to be, and they’re here bc ni-ki won the rock paper scissors by outsmarting everyone. That’s why the very last scene of ni-ki has him looking so smug. Or at least I think that’s how the theory goes. Again, I’m curious to hear your thoughts!! 💗💗 I love this video!

The dark reality is also colored slightly like No Doubt (the grey background and such), which confuses me a bit, but it makes sense as it is mostly devoid of color and is the opposite of the rest of the XO music video!

When it comes to their new powers… sometimes I think they are in a different timeline where the main girl is Chloe. But it is the Japanese version / MV’s of Enhypen. Maybe that’s why they have different powers in this timeline…I don’t know…but it does make sense that this story happened before they went to Riverfield (romance untold). Thank you for the video ❤

niki is a mastermind, what we saw in the beginning (sunghoon won by choosing rock and everyone else chose scissor)
but niki took matters into his own hand, and made it his own fate.

as we all know from the beginning, is that sunghoon won, which means he gets to confess to chloe/sooha.

we have seen in the mv how everyone likes chloe/sooha. but it was actually how the rest of the members would confess if they won the rock paper scissors. it was not their present reality YET.

we could see that nearing to the end, the scenes were sped up and jungwon was zooming out. when in the fact he was looking into the future of what would happen. but it wasnt only jungwon, everyone looked into the future.

so basically in the round were sunghoon won was just imaginary (they looked into the future) where sunghoon chose rock.

but when they actually played it, they all wanted to win over sunghoon who chose rock, so each of the other members knew they would win if they choose rock so they did exept niki who was smart and knew what the other members were thinking, chose paper to win!


along the mv, niki, 's scene with chloe/sooha is on a car. thus, in the ending scene, we saw chloe/sooha in the car. he already confessed to her. and the mv ending with niki smirking cuz he successfully had what's supposed to be sunghoons fate to be his.!!
