To people saying it's so small, I have a bit of an explanation! There were more heavy duty ones available, however those ones just weren't preserved. Because people were using them. The smaller ones, like what she has in her hands, weren't as readily used and thus left to time. You'll often see this in historical garments, that what we have left is always so small; because that's what people were too big to use, or didn't have to use for long (aka children's clothes).
