My fifteen-year-old self wrote a book that twenty-five-year-old me really vibed with. So I decided to dust it off and give it another go...on WAY too tight a timetable. Good lord. This was a mistake.

WOO, good luck c:

I'm not sure if I count as a 'pantser' since I have arcs and key moments planned in advance, and most importantly, the end/themes, but I don't outline. I've tried, but trying to hit those exact beats ends up being more painful than just having things happen. I agree that having a plan helps not get stuck way more than 'discovery writing', but there's people I know who can just dump thousands of words into a project as though an angel was whispering the story to them, so who knows.

That’s so funny because I was just about to comment that your videos inspire me to do the projects I want to do and keep putting off 😅 (you said that in your video right when I was about to comment lol)

The issue I keep running into is that I have ideas for character personalities and scenes, but not plot… or how to build/round out a plot

When did rough drafts become zero drafts? Do I sound like a Boomer right now?
