Talking about not wanting to talk to the actor while he was eating, I had a similar experience a few years ago with Martin Sheen, at an In-N-Out Burger. I decided to let him eat in peace, and went to eat outside with my wife and kids. We were still eating as he was leaving, so I called out "Goodnight, Mr. Estevez!" He waved at us and laughed all the way to his car.
