HEY MAN THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH FOR POSTING THIS VIDEO. I WILL BE PURCHASING ONE VERY SOON PROBABLY TODAY. OTHER THAN BB GUNS I HAD AS A YOUTH AND ONE PELLET RIFLE A BOUGHT OVER 20 YEARS AGO I DO NOT VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT THESE AWESOME NEW AGE AIR RIFLES. Yup, my fx impact m3 22 cal 700mm shoots the 26 gr to 31.2 gr slugs better in the standard superior liner but if I want to shoot heavier slugs I put the heavy superior slug liner for the 34 gr and up to 38 gr I don't shoot heavy then that haven't tried 40 gr or anything like that thanks for the info moose ty for sharing bsafe buddy 👍

The 500mm Panthera comes with the standard superior liner, not the heavy.

My 700 22 came with 1:18.
I installed the 1:16 for 36-38-40 grain slugs without great success. Recently changed it back to 1:18 shooting the 36 HN .218 at 1015fps - extremely accurate.

I have the 600mm .30 and switched the the pellet liner and shooting 68gr Zan slugs it’s shooting much better then the heavy liner..

Yep I shoot 28grain zans and the superior is so much better, the heavy liner won’t be coming out until I’m shooting 33s or more but have no need to just get 👍

Mine has not arrived yet but looking forward to tinkering with it.
This will be a total different threshold for me. But will try everything from inside out to upside down to get it sorted out.
I ordered 22x700 panth. and intend to try some pellets just to see if it can be done.
With this platform you can almost craft custom loads like hand loading powder til you find the right mix.(intend to TRY)
My thinking is this unit produces a lot of thump or power being intended for slugs, pellets may need to be tuned Waaay lower. (I again won't know til I tinker with it)I myself have too many pellets stock piled to just throw my hands up and convert totally to slugs without some valued effort.

I have a 600 Panthera and it seems to shoot heavy pellets fine at about 930 fps. I agree that it would over stabilize light pellets. I don't think the valve works right with low reg pressures, it's open too long. The Panthera is the wrong gun for that, it is a powerful air gun so if you like light pellets you might like a dreamline better.

Good morning! Seeing how I got the .25 from Tom as well with the pellet liner, I wanted to ask if you were going to include pellets in your accuracy testing and best set ups for them? I don't have a chrony yet, so I have only shot with the settings as it came. 125 reg, Macro on 17, not sure the micro, but FX 34gn are at 884 avg. I'm hoping to get the reg pressure way down as well as the macro wheel for efficiency and gun calmness. You mentioned the Huma tunable hammer. How would this help me over the stock one? A couple of other items I wanted to ask your opinion on are for upgrade is the Eagle Vision Air stripper and should I install a carbon sleeve on the liner? Thanks and looking forward to the next parts of your series.

Might be a silly question, but how hard is it to swap liners? New to the airgun world.

If you want top accuracy, forget off the shelf slugs regardless of make. Give Nick a Call at NSA and order slugs that are only 1 then thou. over bore dia. You will have t slug your bbl. Do this and watch your groups shrink by half or more! Other wise you are facing exactly what the Rim Fire shooters are experiencing. You never know what you are getting batch to batch. Sizes all over the place. Terrible for consistent accuracy.;<)
