In this fight if you are panicking remember Molotov cocktail combat page 55 and 76 page 55 teaches you to throw a Molotov cocktail when melee enemy’s try to get close to you and page 76 teaches you to throw a Molotov at the boss and a few shotgun shows and the hands god gave you

- Can’t see Joel walking right in front of her for 2 seconds
- Has more than average health to compensate for being hit so often
- Relies on grunts and the rest of the crew to deal with Joel
- Can’t heal

Chad Joel the Unstoppable
- Doesn’t wear any armor
- Doesn’t need a dodge
- Uses the hands god gave him
- Can craft traps that the stupid Rattlers fall for
- Breaks the rules of continuity to fight the Rattlers
- Can heal
- Can hear the Rattlers from anywhere and even during gunfights
- Is quite literally unstoppable

The strategy I've found for this boss fight (works on all difficulties) is lay a couple of trap mines where you spawn and then stealth your way over to the building with an upper floor behind planters and prone through grass etc. By the time you get to the window where you can jump up to the upper floor someone will have been blown up from the mine which leaves you free to make the last stretch up to the building and in the window. From that balcony you can easily lay prone and sniper rifle all your enemies and sneak up on anyone who comes in as the bedroom/bathroom creates a loop and is good for cover.
Also, the rattler captain often spawns up there and you can sneak up on her and take her down in melee with a few hits. Oh and also, the dogs can't get you up there.

There's also a dead-end space towards the back of the map, where you can pick off the rest of the enemies without the chance of them flanking you. I'd start with the dogs first, then the melee bros, then peel off the rest like a banana before picking the captain like a scab.

Honestly I have done this fight two or three times on hard and Survivor a good strategy is to start and go prone and crawl to the right then throw a bottle or brick to the left to distract the couple of enemies while you continue crawling right into the building where the Rattler Captain is you can then get into the building right behind him without being noticed and kill him first and then hold out in the building which is very easily defensible Until the Last Enemy or two is left in which case you come off the second floor and deal with them

If you’re fast enough and make a mad dash towards the building where the captain is and get on the second floor none of the dogs can climb up and enemy’s can only come from two sides so it makes it really easy to pick them off. Only problem is you have to kill the captain as quickly as possible

When i thought it i only had 4 bullets in an semi-rifle and a couple cross bow arrows and a shotgun with 2 rounds, the raddler captain took a whole crossbow round and died.
