I just watched the entire show and that prosecutor is a nut job ~ not believing his solid alibi; not believing in a fireman, EMT officer, & coroner, professionals whom prosecutors rely on, about their assessment of the body and time of death - liver temp and rigor mortise setting in; “the hope that there’s not a lot of sophisticated law enforcement in the area” which is not having confidence in your area LEOs to collect and record evidence, interviews, etc.; taking Hupp’s word at face value - she kept changing her story, was the insurance beneficiary, the last person to see the victim, cell tower data, etc.; disputing evidence found at the crime scene then having faith in her LEOs about picture taken at the scene that didn’t turn out. This is a classic case of the police and the prosecutor having tunnel vision. She shouldn’t be a prosecutor let alone practicing law!

watched dateline last night, and cannot believe Leah Askey still thinks Russ did it, and that his game night friends helped him do it (in the nude)! I wish those guys would sue her for defamation of character. I've been fascinated by this case for years and am glad that Hupp is at least behind bars for one of her murders. Leah, take your blinders off and admit you were wrong. you are making a fool of yourself.

Leah Cheney has zero, none common sense at all, all the mistakes in this case are just ridiculous, I feel very bad for Ross and Betsy's family. Hopefully they get monetary compensation for all the hell they been through.

I'm disgusted with all of this. That includes the Russ family, who claim they were "coerced" into believing the husband was guilty. What shitty people.

Now that there's a tv series about how the whole thing was an OBVIOUS farce, the family is now trying to save face and apologize. That other guy's murder afterwards is partially their fault as well. Apology not accepted.

Leah Askey probably should have just remained quiet and not tried to save face by doing this program. She looks even more incompetent! I’m not an attorney and this is MY opinion. She really did herself a disservice by participating in this interview. Even Keith Morrison had to chuckle at one of her responses. Seriously lady! 😒
