KPMG Ignite: Empowering young women

The KPMG Ignite programme is the first of its kind in Ireland and comprised four workshops in the Jesus and Mary Secondary school in Goatstown, Dublin. The aim of KPMG Ignite is to empower young women and to improve confidence in their own abilities. There were three areas of focus: Building Confidence; Networking for Success and Unlocking Your Potential. The workshops were held for female transition year students and were centred on female empowerment and building confidence. The workshops, which took place in March and April 2016, feature successful female role models, a number of KPMG volunteers and incorporate valuable tools and tips to improve confidence and boost the aspirations of the participants. The programme culminated in a presentation session where each group presented on their learnings and the benefits gained from the programme.
