I shall be paragraph guy: after the cut off, he goes on to explain how the mom and stepdad are super excited, the stepdad started talking about remodeling the house for the baby and such. A few days later the mom sits down with OP and explains that he needs to move out. OP wustiones why and the mom only responds with they need the room for the baby, and that it will be hood for him to be on his own. Step dad chimes in and says he has two days to move out. So OP, starts freaking out, how was he going to find a place in two days?? The next day at work he was in a daze. Then when he got home OP started looking around but couldn’t find the right thing, everything was either to expensive or roomates looking for diff people. He says he could stay at a friends place but its not long term. Then he goes on a small tangent about no relitives and hiw he is freaking out, trying to come up with a solution. He ends the post then their is a update. OP says that after posting he rememberd his godmother. So he called her up and explained the situation, GM tells him that she will be over then next day and too act normal and not too leave. OP complies and the next day the Step dad pesters him about when he is leaving since he has untill the afternoon. The GM then arrives and tells everyone to sit, she then explains how the house actually belongs to OP, the grandmother had changed the will last minute on her deathbed because she knew something like this would happen, so she changed legal ownership to OP to keep it safe, the Stepdad is furious and the mom is confused, then OP still confused himself says that Stepdad and mom can stay but all major things has to run through him. And if they di stay their are ground rules, 1, treat OP with more respect 2, the major changes thing, and 3, they all have to go to counseling. The mom agreed and after a minute the stepdad agreed aswell. Op then explains how he still a little overwhelmed and that he has a lot to learn about maintaining a house and all that good stuff!

You are a way bigger person than I am. If it was me the moment she said I was the home owner, I would have turned to that man and told him he had 2 days to get out.
For future reference no one can be kicked out without 30 days notice. They could have called the police and the police would have told them to get a court order which again is 30 days after the date the court issued it. So you would have had like 2 months. So glad it worked out the way it did for you. Congrats for your gift and your VERY mature way of dealing!
