Synthetic fuels obtained from renewable energy (solar and wind) are a new chance for CO2 neutral mobility. They help to reduce CO2 emissions.

The cooperation between MAHLE and Porsche tested the effects of e-fuels in a production series Porsche 911 GTS. The results were remarkable. The MAHLE hard parts such as pistons, valves, filters and bearings had no problems with these alternative fuels. In addition to that, the Porsche test driver felt no difference in his driving experince in comparison to a Porsche with conventional fuels.
