Evan Nagao - 2022 US National Contest routine practice - Using 'Edge FS' yoyo

In the video I said "I'm pretty uncomfortable with this yoyo." By that I meant it's narrower than my competition yoyo, Edge 2022, so I was feeling a bit of pressure to hit the tricks in front of the people watching. I still managed to hit it clean though!

As a big fan of you, I have a question: do you practice without gloves and use gloves just on stage? The gloves on stage are because of the sweaty hands? I'm surprised people doesn't talk that much about gloves considering how many players use to compete. I'll put my hands on an Edge FS as soon as possible, by the way. Thanks a lot!
