Would you boop the snoot?

So for a explanation about his collar, Oreo is a outside cat, cats instinct is hunting so he would usually hunt/kill the birds. We don’t want to scare the birds away (or for them to die lol-) so we put this colorful collar on him with a bell so the birds can see and hear him when he’s coming. I hope it makes sense- it doesn’t hurt him or anything but I imagine it would be a bit uncomfortable.
