Goku will never be an angel cause battling strong opponents and getting stronger is what he lives for. If he becomes an angel he can never ever fight again he would never do that. Vegeta also wants just get stronger in his way to fullfill his saiyan pride he will never be an God of Destruction. Goku's goal is to be the strongest of all and as for vegeta he does not wants to be behind goku so no they are not becoming gods and angels.
