Restoration Soviet Axe Multi Tool

Hello everyone, today I want to show you a new restoration video of the Soviet Universal axe. I've never seen this before. The form is interesting and the tools that are with him. And in particular, the axe itself, the hammer, the screwdriver and claw hammer. And there are two holes on the back of the handle, but I still didn't understand what they were for. If anyone knows. Please leave a comment.

As usual, I used rust remover. Then washed, dried and oiled. Also, I used wire iron bush to removed patina and some dark spots. In correction of the shape of the axe, I used files and sand paper from 80 to 280. The hammer head had to be brewed and sanded. The working surface was sanded. Sandpaper including 1000 grit. Places for the handle had to be adjusted and leather was inserted under the pads in order to level the surface. I chose ash wood, leather and steel pins. The axe handle was soaked with homemade wax. As usual, I made a test for you, I hope you enjoy this axe restoration project.

The recipe of the dish.
Ingredients: coarse salt, sugar half a teaspoon, paprika, ground red pepper to your taste, adjika 20 grams, wine vinegar to taste, fresh garlic 3-4 cloves.
Wash the chicken, wipe it with salt, then grease it with vinegar (after mixing it together). Squeeze out the garlic and also wipe the chicken with it. Leave for 1 hour.
Fry on hot coals for up to 15 minutes, depending on the size of the chicken.

Sincerely, Alex. Thanks for attention!
Good luck and health to everyone! With best wishes, Alex!

I recently dove straight into every single restoration channel on Youtube, and they've been playing in the background while I work, but yours is by far my favourite. You find these amazing old tools that desperately need and deserve love, respect the original design of what you restore, stay away from silly mirror polishes on tools that would never have had them, and you show a workshop that actually looks like a workshop and not a Youtube video setup. I'm a fan.

thanks for putting the filter on the camera while welding and for telling whoever was calling you were busy.

May you be well during these difficult times.

I don’t know which I appreciate more - your restoration skills, or your humor. Good thing I don’t have to choose. Nice work!

That axe is great. I love the bottle opener, cause every sharp cutting tool needs a way to open your beer bottle. Also that chicken looks delicious. I am going to try and make that. 😋

This one has the holy trinity:

1. Tea
2. The cat curtain
3. Delicious looking food

Also, I think this restoration is up there with one of your best. Well done and I'm glad your hand is looking better!!🥇
