Interesting how the media has no problem promoting a movie about a second American civil war, but blacklists a movie about rescuing children from trafficking.
Very telling.

As a native Texan whose family has been here long enough to have kin that fought in the battle of San Jacinto. A battle with California and Texas is meh. Texas and Cali have had a mutual dislike for each other for generations. ( no offense to our west coast friends) big blue city Cali folks move to Texas and try to vote for the same crap that caused them to migrate. Been like that for years.

Blue cities in red areas might find it a little short on food.

I think the more absurd part is assuming that all these alliances would be drawn on strict state lines as if the borders are magic, immutable, binding contracts.

The absurdity of all this is that the original premise of the United STATES of America is that the Federal Government was only ever intended to regulate trade between the States and establish treaties with foreign nations on behalf of the Union of the States. It was never intended for the Federal Government to regulate, or really ever be involved in, the day-to-day activities of the citizens of the several States.

Any “civil war” is the urban areas against the rural areas, but actually we, ve been in a quiet or cold civil war for many decades it is being fought on the cultural, educational and economic fronts.

what makes the movie more ridiculous are the journalists being the main heroes. lol. mainstream media is gonna save america. lol. in reality, mainstream media ARE the REAL villains here.

I'm with the green beret. I never served, but whenever I meet people who itch for a civil war I just shake my head. These people have no idea just how horrible life would become.

Edit: A number of responders have misunderstood my comment. When I said I have met people who itch for a civil war, I meant that. These people actually _desire_ an open battle against other Americans. This is what I shake my head at. Obviously, if one occurs we should fight for what we believe is right. As a parent, I dread the day this happens as it means my children would grow up knowing war and bloodshed, and possibly would witness the destruction of our country. No one should _desire_ open battle against his countrymen.

Oregonian here, the rest of the nation vastly underestimates how much we rural counties LOATH portland and salem. I think any civil war would be much more states vs their own capitals and liberal hellholes.

There is no way Kansas would ever align with the northeast in a second civil war.

As a 20 year old who grew up watching all this ever since gamergate and all that crap as it went down, I feel robbed of the life I was promised.

The American Revolution (British Civil War) began with a single shot. No-one knows who fired it. Could have even been a hunter in the woods, unaware of the stand-off. The American Civil War began with one shot (exact location debatable). World War I began with one shot (Assassination of Archduke Ferdinand). World War II was a continuation of the war, after a 20 year cease fire (caused by The Spanish Flu, which killed roughly 33% of all humans). The Soviet Revolution began with one shot (murder of Tsar Nicholas II, and subsequently his family). Wars begin, not with a fight that is already on-going, but by one person, with one ideal, and the propensity to act on their ideals. This is the Information Age - more than just a saying. Wars are fought via drones, information and propaganda, and the internet. The war has already begun, and has been fought for the better part of 50 years - with a brief cease fire during the late 80s-early 90s do to economic growth in the US. Your just now seeing the fruits of their labor. Next is the one bullet.

As a resident of South Carolina I find the stupidest depiction on the map being South Carolina siding with the "Loyalists" otherwise known as the Democrat states... someone is smoking crack if they think that.

Does anybody remember that TV show Jericho? Honestly, I feel that is more realistic. As far as countries uniting Texas would definitely be it's own republic
