Tennessee GOP expels two Democrats for participation in gun protest

Three Tennessee state representatives were accused of “disorderly behavior,” following their participation in a demonstration on the House floor calling for stricter gun safety measures. Now, two members have been expelled. NBC News’ Priscilla Thompson reports.

Quick fact check for those of you calling this another insurrection, an article from the Nashville Tennessean publication: "More than a 1, 000 peaceful protestors rallied around Tennessee’s state Capitol on March 30 calling for more restrictive gun laws. Many made their way into the Capitol in a demonstration top Republican lawmakers have likened to “an insurrection.”

No demonstrators broke into the Capitol, no one was arrested or injured, and no property was damaged."
