Xiaobao's love is greater than his hatred for huaien, even after everything he still don't want him to d! e, he can't even imagine it happening. No matter how much he say that he don't love him anymore and it was just a game for him but he know very well that it was not, even su yin know this. XB might not forget what huaien have done but he will definitely forgive him, love make people stupid and blind but heartbreak make them a strong person who can fight the world coz the old weak and fragile person also broke with that heart. XB become mature enough to think about his future and his family's future, he is not the same immature and spoiled kid, even his love for huaien changed, I know that he don't love him the same he use to do but he still do love him, just some feelings change.
Huaien also changed alot, he is not the same person who didn't use to care about anything but now he became more soft, desparate, and he loves XB more now, the separation made him realise his love for XB though there is not much that changed in his personality, he's still a bit aggressive and stubborn but atleast something changed. ( Huaien remind me so much of Ming coz Ming also changed after he lost Joe but his behaviour towards other never change, he never had a soft spot for anyone else but Joe and somehow huaien is also same he's not soft towards anyone but XB ).
( Though huaien is like Ming but XB I don't really think he is like Joe completely but he's definitely a bit similar, like how Joe changed after the accident and here XB changed after the great But I can definitely say that Joe was way more sensible than XB though he was stupid but not as much as XB )
