The Mega Construx separator is superior because it comes down right on top of the brick instead of from the side

I do wish that lego made the axle slightly longer as I've encountered a few time where the parts connected requires a longer axle then what's on the brick separater

I never understood why people try to use the brick separator for cavities like the one shown.
Use other legos, like the 2x1 pillar or a stack of them. Simply press down on the part to remove and tilt the unit while applying pressure. Easy.

The separator can also be used to place stickers on pieces which makes it so clean for a straight edge

Back in my day we didn't have brick separators, we used our fingernails.

How did I not know until now that you can use brick separators to take out technic pins-

Just use the backsite from the brick seperator, it's strong and small and it can easely remove bricks.
