Thanks for this video dude! I first downloaded (after a few attempts) the correct CUDA file. Then I installed the GTX 1060. It took a minute to boot up but once it did, it worked like a dream! Thanks to this video and the comments for helping me out!

I bought a gtx1600 for my MacPro. I plugged everything in. When I turn it on it spun but then stopped.... would love some help installing.

I really need help. I have the original gpu and my new 1060 plugged in at the same time. In system report both cards are detected. I have installed the latest nvidia Web driver for high Sierra 10.13.6 and cuda. I still don't get any display from the 1060. If I reboot with just the 1060 installed I get the apple logo loading screen and then nothing. Any ideas?

Hello Anthony ... watching your videos encourage me to update my macpro with your same GTX. I have a question regarding the installation procedure. To perform such installation of Drivers you initially need both cards working at the same time? ... In my case I have a single power cable (giving power to the HD 5770 mac). Making it work with only one at the same time. I await your wise answers. Greetings from CHile

Hi and thanks for this video. I have a flashed Asus gtx 680 DirectCu ii 4gb now, on my Mac Pro 4.1 (dual quad 2, 66). I have at my disposal a Palit superjetstream gtx 1080, cn you think I use it instead the 680 or I need to buy a 1060? I need it to work on 4k, for the new Wacom Cintiq 24 or I need to switch to the Windows world... Thanks in advance!

🤓 now that you have a decent gtx video card you can download steam, they have an osx compatible game section, also search around the web for indie games which sometimes have an osx version too

only plug and play the GTX 1060 inside the mac....and that's all?
