$50 for SNES mario Rpg is crazy, i bought it the other day complete in box for about $6, loose copies were around ￥300😂 the joys of living in Japan i guess. Btw that JP copy of persona will have no English text no atlus game released here has english text support same goes for bandai namco.

Each store kinda has there own way of labeling their games/ product .. all depends on the employee and the store manager. Usually we try to avoid putting labels on collectors edition collectibles

Nice grabbing Sine Mora, its such an under rated shooter. Incredibly diifficult but once you get the hang of it its really rewarding. Its a beautiful game as well. I`ve been collecting pretty much nothing but shmups on switch for the past 3 months now and Sine Mora was one of them. I hate those gamestop stickers, I always remove them. A few weeks ago I was at gamestop and came across Sifu in steelbook form. Would you believe they put stickers on the front n back?! Its a steelbook wtf. It was in great condition though, before i bought it I made sure I can peel those off without scratching the paint off, which I did successfully. But just grabbed slave zero as well! I still own the dreamcast game matter fact. Have yet to start zero but lookin forward to it

What is the current definition of a rare game? Initially, when collectors imported Switch games from different regions those games were considered rare until they were released in another region. This resulted in a lot of collectors with overpriced copies of games that might not be playable because there was no option for english patched in, and a bunch of resellers getting dizzy with the amount of back and fourth trips to the postal office.

if a game like 'Buddy Mission Bond' which looks like it isn't playable in english and might not have an english option (shocking for a first party Nintendo game) might be re-released on the next Nintendo console, will the future factor of a rare game depend on the internal game case artwork? I wonder what Max will buy with his Limited Run Games online coupon...

I myself when collecting switch games (even tho we want them all😅) my philosophy is “Its not a collectors collection, its a personal collection. Only got like a bin full. Its not all the special editions or rare games, but all games i play, played or would play (that backlog am i right? Lol)
