Pramila Jayapal is a total sham she needs to step down as Progressive Caucus Chair..

Something seemed fishy with Jayapal when she was trying to hurry and jump on the watered down BBB deal. This is what makes me feel like almost all of our official representatives are working together to benefit themselves. Like get into politics say your running to make citizens lives better and once in do whatever necessary to get whatever benefits you. Sounds like a typical trump scheme to play on citizens and supporters needs to enrich themselves

Can we get another Cenk/Ro Khanna where he asks Ro about this decision?

Nina Turner is the type of progressive that is bold and not afraid to say what she needs to say and do what she needs to do. We need way more of people like her in Congress.

Just unfollowed Pramila. Another career minded politician who put her personal interest before the movement.

At one point I was thinking that Primilla Jaypal was just naive and a little too trusting beyond reason. I'm starting to think she's just corrupt now and she hides behind a "Progressive" banner.

Well CPC just lost my monthly donation. I have been making monthly donations to PCCC and CPC, but now I'm switching all of those donations to PCCC. Also I donate directly to Nina Turner's campaign and I will be seeing if I can increase my direct support for her campaign. Progressives put your money where your values are and support actual progressives directly.

Andy Kim is not a progressive. He’s basically a libertarian.

This is why the standard of "not taking corporate pac money" alone is not a good measure for a progressive candidate, there has to be standards beyond that, a basic minimum set of policies that define a progressive. I would suggest; Medicare for all, making the minimum wage a living wage, tax fairness (tax the rich), social security improvements, Green New deal, as starters.

Bernie Sanders sent this today:

In just a moment, I’m going to ask you to make a contribution to support Nina Turner, one of our movement’s most committed leaders. But first, I hope you will give me a chance to explain why your contribution is so important — especially today.

Nina Turner has been on the front lines of the fight for higher wages, Medicare for All, climate justice, racial justice and a world of peace. She is standing with workers organizing at Starbucks, with seniors who cannot afford their prescription drugs and people — young and not so young — who are saddled with student debt.

That’s why I am supporting her run for the U.S. House in Ohio’s 11th Congressional District.

With the primary election coming right up on May 3rd, Nina Turner needs our help. There are super PACs and powerful special interest groups that are spending a huge amount of money trying to defeat her. Just this week, a super PAC spent more than $1 million on ads in support of Nina's opponent.

Why are they so afraid of Nina?

The answer is clear: Nina is a different kind of Democrat — a progressive, grassroots activist who knows that real change never takes place from the top on down, but always from the bottom on up. She has spent her political life trying to build a multi-generational, multi-racial political movement which is prepared to take on the big-money interests that have so much economic and political power in our country.

So with only a few weeks left in this primary, she is counting on a lot of donations today to take on the enormous amounts of spending that outside groups have poured into her race.

That is why I am asking:

Can you please contribute today to stand with Nina Turner before her primary election? Every donation will go directly to her campaign for Congress.

Nina is running her campaign the right way, powered by grassroots organizing and reaching out directly to working people.

Her campaign is knocking on doors across the district talking to people one-on-one about the need to fight for a progressive agenda that creates a government that works for all of our people, not just the one percent. Nina is focused on taking on the powerful corporate interests that are gouging people at the gas pump, the grocery store, the pharmacy counter and just about everywhere else.

Nina’s team has already knocked on tens of thousands of doors, but they need our help to keep the effort up until the primary on May 3rd. Because if she has the resources to turn out her supporters, she can win this election.

But no single person can win an election and transform this country alone. It is going to require all of us.

Please make a contribution to Nina Turner's campaign for Congress. With the primary election coming up very soon on May 3rd, there has never been a more important time to show you stand with Nina.

Right now Nina is relying on our movement to continue running the kind of grassroots campaign that can win this election.

Thank you for adding your contribution today to help keep Nina's local canvassers knocking on doors, and calling and texting voters right up until the primary.

In solidarity,

Bernie Sanders
