Wedding Filmmaking Behind The Scenes | Vanessa + Jason

This wedding was different in every way for us. This was the first real documentary approach and I had a team of 4 filmmakers. We film our weddings with the Blackmagic pocket cinema camera 6k Pro (bmpcc 6k pro) and Ursa Mini Pro 4.6k G2. The pocket 6k Pro is a workhorse especially for weddings. This vlog shows alot of my preshoot planning, directing, and working with the photographer. As always, any questions please leave them in the comments below.

Interacting the way you do with people... success guaranteed !!! Thanks to your patience and ways to approach with kindness and fun, they quickly understand doing what you want will not ask them any effort, and it's all for the "stars of the day".
No matter the pressure, you manage to stay in your flow, and that really is a lesson for all to see. During my years as a sports photographer, I remember those moments when you have to stay in a no-matter-what state of mind. The only time I failed was when my pilot managed to miss the right turn to the finish line and crashed the motorcycle to the asphalt. Still today I can recall how heavy the thing was, and how worry was I for my gear and my images. Aside from this very "special" moment, I never lost my temper. And this is what I see in your way of working, but also the way you manage your team. All your guys adjust to your pace, it's a sign... they all get it your way, they all move toward the same goal just like bees.

Great job on this. This shows how amazing you are to work with. You and Conner made my day working with y’all at the Odessa Marriott so much easier! I don’t get many that are as knowledgeable or as professional as you are. You were prepared and had all the audio equipment that was necessary to plug into my DJ system to get audio for the reception. Lol not to mention you came in hot with your personality and fit right in with me, the wedding party, and all of the guests. I've watched this video so many times because I love your setup so much. I live in an area where getting a second shooter is nearly impossible. If I can pull off great setups like this, it'll bloom into something new for us. Also as a sound guy, I ultimately appreciate the hard work you've put into your sound setup, especially timecode. I’ve been to many weddings and funerals, some had professional photographers maybe two or three. I don’t recall seeing the videographers. Mainly family members record the videos. This is next level sir, what you’re doing. Capturing memories. I wish I had this at mine.

0:08, 9:08, 13:05 what can I say... he's giving everything... I personally haven't used Ursa G2 setup and my heaviest set up was movi, komodo, ultra prime, 7" monitor, FF, mattebox, etc added up that's less than 10kg. To me that setup was really heavy to operate for whole day shoot, can't imagine how you are pulling off on every wedding shoots. All do respect boss!
