The verse which was mentioned is from al-Qasas verse 38. The verse is NOT talking about the pyramids, however, according to this tafsir from Tafsir al-Qurtubi. The verse is talking about a tower that was built by the pharaoh. The tower mentioned in this verse is about a tower that has already been destroyed by Allah SWT. It has nothing to do with the pyramids. I do hope that he apologize for his mistake for sending the verse out of context.
