I understand waiting to show your anger, but there is something to be said for having a conversation about a sticky subject at the moment. I really admire people who can address a subject and speak their mind, when it's being discussed. Walking away can increase the intensity of the feelings, or you can lose the point. Trying to pick it up later can be tricky... ... aaand the other person has no idea how you feel! Now you're out of sinc, and this leads to resentments on both sides.

Spot on, learning from your mistake makes you a better person in situations we find ourselves, the world perceives the pursuit of ambition as a treat not knowing your intentions makes people around you scared of what you are looking for. Only you know your thoughts are true and pure.💯

Holding back on your skills and talents so as not to offend anyone as being overly ambitious sounds more like people pleasing to me.... just be yourself and shine in your own right. You’re not there to outdo anyone, you’re there to do a good job and help people as part of the team with your individual contribution. Nothing wrong with bringing your strengths to the table and contributing to the team in a positive manner. Not to dull yourself and “blend in” so that you’re not being your authentic self. Be yourself always. ❤ Life’s too short to be what anyone else expects you to be.

Interesting. Generally I will go more for...expressing my discomfort in a healthy way asap so holding back for 24-48 hours...wow that's a challenge I'm going to accept. We will see how it goes.

the 24 hour thing is something i've actually learnt myself from experience;
dont indulge your daily mood swings in the moment, especially when you're temperamental and neurotic like me and have a lot of ups and downs throughout the day. 24 hours later you wont even care 90% of the time and you wont catastrophize everything nor live in a battlefield

It's a shame you have to dumb down your intelligence and ambition to not be perceived as a threat. I am usually motivated when I hear others speak with such drive and excitement. I'm happy For them. Even when I am in a low place in life, and not that happy, I would still want them to succeed
